I would think at least 15 teams have a shot to win the NCAA title

I'm pretty crazy about backing my Kentucky Wildcats but I think they can go on a run in March. They've been wildly inconsistent so they could lose in the first or second round but they've got guys that can take over a game and that can get you places in March. If they could just defend like they did on the road against Auburn in every game they'd be a dangerous team but the thing is they haven't been a very good defensive team nor have they been very good on the boards this season. Still I wouldn't want to see them if I were a top 4 seed because they're an under the radar team that will cause some problems for top teams if they were to match up.

What’s their biggest strength ? Do they have any depth , to tell you the truth as there is over 300 teams in division one college basketball I have not bet on or against Kentucky this year, I’m fuckin‘ clueless of their possibilities guy.

They have the best offense in the country imo. They are 10 deep but the problem is even though they average 88 points a game they can't stop anybody consistently. I do think that if the game is close and they need someone to go get a bucket they have guys that can do that consistently and that's why they're dangerous. Right now you can get Kentucky at 25/1 to win the title and that's a good price for them I think because I don't think they're the favorite but I do think they have Final Four talent this year.

That’s how I felt about Miami last year and they went on a nice run during the tournament getting to the final final four. They made me a pretty penny during the process.

Kentucky is very similar to last year's Miami squad in a lot of ways this season. I say this because last year's Miami squad ranked nowhere near the top 10 in defense and they still made a run to the Final Four because they had so many guys that could score on their team. Their defense was actually pretty poor if you looked at all the metrics but it didn't matter because they could score on anybody. This Kentucky team is the same way they have a modern offense that relies on threes and getting to the rim and they have multiple shooters. It will be interesting to see how they do because imo Calipari has no excuse for not getting this team to the Final Four whereas in the last few years his teams were lacking offensively despite the fact they had some good players.

Good to know I’ll keep an eye on them during the conference tourney for a situational bet.
