Overall - he’s a decent guy - talked to him years ago here in Cleveland and he has some insight - but as a tout - pass. There are better and better presented ones out there. His cheaper on his picks than many - and at least he puts some thought into them attempting to back up his work with stats. But yea - I’d sooner flip a quarter than pay him or any tout for their guesses.

The book - it is worthwhile reading every year for me - more entertaining than informational. I’ll probably buy one. His site offers several “packages” - again - up to the individual if they offer any real value.

Blackie was a huge fan of this magazine. He often would use it to base his own openers for opening day. Bet25back had its own unique lines for opening day. We need more players in the game like Blackie. He needs to come back and offer the players something different for this season.
