Hurts and Barkely are an unusual, record breaking combo. Teams don't move towards that kind of combo, because they don't exist much.

Lamar and Henry in Balty also pushing the limits.

As the running QB comes back into favor though we might see more of these combos going forward.

There is a lot to it and some can be misleading. I want post some charts but no time. Maybe I can do it later.

Quick example of what I mean is just look at rushing defense. When it comes to yards, they were 29th. The good news is that Wash is teid with them: Dallas can exploit that on the offensive.

Anyway, so the rush D is but it just so happens that the play the top two rush offenses in the league in Philly and Washington.

Are Philly and Wash great rushing teams or do they only look good becasue Dallas is a bad rush D. Or does Dallas appear to have worse D than they do because Philly and Wash are so good anyway?

Judging by the playoff performances we could see evidence that Philly and Wash are really good rushing teams overall. That means Dallas D might not be so bad.

So there is a lot to all the stats. Regardless, they have to go through Philly and Wash to get even sniff a Super Bowl.
