Because smart gamblers don’t walk around crowing about their week or wins just as they don’t birch and moan about a bad few days long.

Variety of reasons why it’s only smart business to keep quiet and only post generalizations. Not the least is tipping the books as to how you’re doing. No one wants to mess with a player on a winning streak - books talk occasionally- but they watch forums religiously.
