A couple of things I like that drew me to Bovada was:

I like the fact there are so many reports of fast payments

Their mobile betting platform is great

One of the few books that have poker. And their poker is highly rated

Wide range of sports to bet on. Pretty much anything you can think of

Hi TBA,

Don't forget you could also use Bovada to apply for the BMR Baller Program.

"How to become a BMR Baller?

You must fund a new sportsbook account through a BMR sponsor for up to a $100 deposit match (5x rollover). This deposit stacks on top of any bonus the sportsbook gives you, giving you extra cash to bet with. You will then be eligible to receive coins through:"

I’m taking Bovada up on their sign up sports bonus of $250 for a $500 deposit with a 5xRollover

I did see some of the reviews, and I read in Bovada’s rules, that it’s important that I don’t wager more than 50 percent of the bonus amount. I’ll pay attention to that so I don’t run into trouble.
5X rollover not too shabby, I just hope they don't pull any stall tactics with you when it's time for withdraw.

What’s the deposit methods these days? I’m not a crypto guy and they all seem to be going crypto.

I ranked Bovada #1 in the BMR polls, but even they have issues. I joined Bovada crypto exclusive membership about 2-3 years ago where I only do crypto deposit (w/ alternative deposit)*. Before that I was 50/50 with crypto and CC deposits. I wasn't the only one they did this to but Bovada was telling several players that their CC had charged back. My last 10+ CC transactions that were done 4-5 months ago were alleged by Bovada as being charged back. I say alleged because they never showed proof that it was charged back. But they made me send 4-5 months of my statements showing that it was never charged back to me. They locked my account for a few weeks before they unlock it. Basically, I would be careful w/ CC as no matter how careful you are w/ CC, it can still cause difficulties. (Btw, Heritage just claimed charged back to a recent CC transaction which I never received a charged back on my CC.)

Also, as I mentioned previously, I haven't done CC deposits for a few years but if I recall correctly, the fees were high and they didn't reimburse you.

*There are also alternative deposits/payouts that you can do at Bovada Community Forum. I'm a Hall of Fame Trader that did too many trades that caused PayPal, Venmo, CashAp and Apple Pay to closed my accounts. Zelle restricted me from sending but can still receive funds. You can do trades there but best practice is to use CA, AP or Zelle. They have a thread of best practice which if you should partake in trades to heed that thread.

heard they limit u quick

I heard a few posters on the community forum who expressed being limited and they were reliable posters. But it does appear that they do limit and strict on the 50% wagering limit for r/o w/ new players than w/ long time players. I've never been limited and have done thousands of r/o going all-in on the first bet and never being warned. However, I've been playing there when they were called Bodog and now Hall of Fame - Red Room which means absolutely nothing in terms of perks.

Hall of Fame - Red Room with crypto exclusive membership and all I get now is 50% reload bonus w/ 30x r/o. But I'm seeing new players getting bonuses and perks left and right, though Bovada is being more strict w/ them.

What are the fees for that method these days ? Bookmaker covers my crypto fees every time I deposit, just have to pay a 3-4 dollar minor fee.

Have had different fees with it at various times. Sometimes no fee. Other times a 7-8% fee charged. Crypto obviously helps to avoid fees and probably get better bonuses, but at least the credit cards got successfully accepted more often than other offshore sites.

Had the Red Room a couple of times there. Helped to get some better offers for a few weeks but then I’d just get kicked out of it a month later…

“As you are aware, we regularly assess our players and their playing patterns to make sure we are aligning our services to best cater to each individually. We review accounts on a month on month basis taking into account your previous months play and recency.”
