Alabama usually wins big at home vs lesser opponents.

They've won by 40, 26, 22, & 3 points in 4 of their last 5 home games. I skipped the Jackson St game since they aren't in the top 100 on KenPom. The only close game was Memphis in mid-Dec where they won by 3 but Memphis is a much better team than Vandy.

But, Vandy does like to stick around on the road. They have been beaten soundly by Tenn (11 points) on the road but they seem to hang tough with teams outside the top 20 when playing on the road. Bama is #4 on KenPom so I would expect Bama to step up like they've been doing at home and cover the 8.5 tonight.

This is just my opinion. I'm not on this game.

I discount the turmoil a little. It seems teams rally together when something like this happens.
Oats is a good coach, in his 4th year at Bama. I'd like to think he'll have them focused.
