Yes confidence is important….

Think it’s more about trusting the numbers the system gives you…even when people you respect in the arena say different….

Right Wrong or Indifferent… why invest the time and effort put in to attain those numbers, and not use them?

There are likely even more successful gamblers who combine market lines and statistics from teams.

Relying on the market OR alone stats can be successful (likely a few are successful with one or the other) but not as successful as using both. Combining the two is a better situation.

Ignoring stats completely is a mistake IMO.

The truly best all around sports gamblers are extremely knowledgeable about sports

Doesn’t mean there aren’t successful ones out there that aren’t, but I would say the vast majority are
