JJ, Do you believe there are the 3-5 "market maker books" that set the lines and don't limit sharps (for the most part).... and then the rest of them that are recreational books that just follow the market makers and limit winners over time?
Laziness and fear of being on the wrong side too often - don’t have to be perfect - 60% is a solid win rate.
There used to be a time where books wouldn’t be afraid to hang a number different than the widely available number - no more.
If anything- it’s the only use I’ve found for DraftKings for example outside of promos - easy to get a more generous number on the public dog there than anywhere.
