How about we discuss the forum taboo

Why can't SBR Mods and fellow brother and sister forum members realize the benefits of being members at both forums?? Win/win for the players. Not everyone can play at US books and want to post mostly where that forum will have their back if a dispute with a book should arise. The majority of the posters here have a need for offshore books and are members in good standing at SBR. Seeing childish behavior from SBR's head Mod referring to us posters as "Banned Members Retreat" is a slap in the face. We are not banned. We supported your books for years, and most have appreciated all the hard work you have done. Your site changed its target audience that no longer included us, but we are still good-standing members and eventually will have that need again. It would be nice if you apologize to the good people here because only a handful did you dirty.

As for the members still at SBR. No hard feelings. I understand and respect the loyalty. Many of us miss the daily competitive games and chats in the Poker room. Great bunch of loyal posters still there. Hopefully soon members will see the benefits of posting at both forums and join in contests here and there. Hope to see you all at the tables soon!!

With the history of SBR....2 other forums popped up since SBR was started. Some posters moved on to each, but the core stayed.

JJ moved to EOG for a short span, but the core stayed until he was back.


So they might be weary about leaving since SBR still grew after these things happened


HOWEVER, the difference this time is....the main core of SBR employees moved here


thats why they should be signing up even if not posting/competing in contests yet

Summer is slow for recreational football only guys, but the true degens and guys that post multiple forums or poker players are around daily.

I think there's an attitude by some, albeit at both sites, to try and paint the other site as a "bad" place. I don't agree with that approach. There are positive/negatives for both sites. In reality, both sites can coexist. One is focused on off-shore and one domestic books. I admittedly post at both places (mostly at BMR). I will say there are a number of posters across the street that I talk to and respect and expect them to start posting here at some point.

Many are reluctant right now to post here due to how long they were at the other place. Maybe a little loyalty? Maybe a little apprehension about being ridiculed by their peers if they post here? If you look at the posts over there that disparage this site, they are from posters you may never see at BMR and maybe don't want to.

Finally, as Rudy mentions, quite a few are here but not posting.

I expect more and more to migrate and either post here or at both sites.
Most posters visit multiple forums.

I have a couple US books but are not in my state so not convenient. Offshore is still best for odds, vig,and bonuses in my opinion. So here I am. I still use the other place as there is still some good info there.

There is definitely a culture of pettiness at SBR because they look down a posters they have banned and don't want them posting on any forum even though they only control SBR - SBR bans posters out of spite and vengeance, instead of banning as last resort. SBR is a dictatorship not a freedom friendly place like here or ThRx.

For example when I was banned at SBR this time optional posted that he contacted Rx staff about my posts - but thankfully TheRx didn't do anything for him.

The other issue BMR discourages admitting is that now that tard joined SBR is a better place to post at - just read some of the SBR threads and now that tard posts there less even the morono threads are more peaceful and pleasant. As bad as morono is I have to admit I'd rather see morono here than tard, so hopefully even morono starts posting here, BMR is big enough for both morono and tard and the rest of those stooges to post here.

There is no such thing Tuesday. All forums are a business and have a vision. That vision can change at any time to fit the owners agenda in getting the most sponsors and meeting their wants and needs. There is no free speech out there. Certain forums allow it at times because it fits or has no affect on their agenda.

I know there are rules at each forum, just saying that I notice less moderation at TheRx compared to the rest, I mean here I've even been told to use less smilies/emoticons and that's over moderating in my opinion.

SBR going legal had to clean up their forum in a hurry. Your 6 month argument isn't making any forum any money. I like you both but if I owned the place or was a Mod all your posts interacting with each other would be immediately moved to the basement. If you kept it up than would be gone. That is me being honest with you. It is an eyesore seeing the same thing in every thread. I stopped posting across the street because that was all you seen. I hate seeing it here. That is not over moderation. You have both been given the opportunity to post your side of the story. No one wants to see it more than once.

It's already started. Some of his posts have already been removed. Such a travesty but at least he's has free reign in the basement.
