Still hard to believe several years later anyone in this crappy organization thought Jaycee Horn was better than Surtain on draft day

Now Panthers give Horn $100 million. Highest paid defensive back in NFL history. They must really love him

I still remember how shocked I was real time during this draft Panthers picked Horn over Surtain when everyone, except the Panthers I guess, had Surtain ranked by far best DB in the draft

Also looking back on this draft 4 years later we see Jets doing Jets things per usual with the Wilson pick at number two

And Dallas getting one of the draft steals of the last 5-years plus in Micah Parsons at #12 but since Jerry mismanages the team so much they haven’t been able to do much with a guy like that on defense

Also of course the Niners Trey Lance #3 overall pick and their trading three number ones to get him sticks out like a sore thumb. Didn’t seem to hurt the Niners immediately but a couple of years down the road like we are now and they’re a lot more thin at several positions I’m sure they’d have loved to have had those #1 picks last few years
