On the 1990 team, played against Derrick Phelps, Khalid Reeves, and Luther Wright.
I remember talking to Bobby Hurley SR. on cook st. one fine morning.My fathers yard was on that street and Bobby Hurley worked as a probation officer in the administration office in Jersey city.I told SR that I caught a St Anthony game a few weeks before and he told me a funny story about Luther Wright.I said who is that huge guy?(Wright)Senior responds "It took us a week to find shoes big enough for the kid"something like size 20...I miss those conversations with Bob Hurley sr....and I had quite a few with him & he loved to talk basketball & construction....he's the only person I can remember being somewhat intimidated by.
