They (someone) ended up giving him a ball but he knows it was not the "game ball". In the post game presser he said it was a new ball, not the game ball.

He wasn't happy.

I wouldn't be happy either. I would want the game ball. It's pretty childish of them not just to give it to him

The Bucks wanted the game ball for Antetokounmpo. Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said the Pacers took the ball for Oscar Tshiebwe who scored his first official NBA point

They said it was to give it to a Pacers player that scored his 1st NBA point Wager.

It's simple then.

Get each player in the room and offer to split the ball in half and give each player half.

The player that doesn't want the ball ruined and just offers to give to the other guy should get the ball.

@flyingillini might like this idea too.

I like the idea, KVB.

Both players/teams are happy. Besides it is always possible to frame half of the ball.

It's a test Genie.

He who is willing to split the ball in half, so that it may never joyfully bounce, or even fly through a hoop in a carefree, or any manner, ever again does not truly love the ball and care for the ball.

He who is willing to sacrifice his ownership of the ball so that it may remain intact and enjoy the life of a special ball like other special balls before him is the rightful and deserving owner.

For that player wants the ball to live, even if on a mantle, a full, not half life. That player cares for the ball, and not for the differing trophies it represents.

Good one, KVB.

If not, Giannis could try to make another 63 pts or more in their next match-up.
