Than Boston College hoops leaving the Big East in 2005?

I know football had much to do with it, and they’re probably bringing in more money now, but my goodness.
Hoops team went from a national player to laughingstock.

This is true but, all the AD and University Pres can think of is the $$$ coming in from the ACC.

Maryland died too. Irrelevant in all sports in the B1G. They should have stayed in the ACC.

Always like Gary Williams when he coached there. I was surprised to learn he is still the AD, 14 years after leaving coaching.

Gary Williams lives and dies Maryland. I had no idea he was the AD. Other than the revenue sharing from the B1G, Maryland is an afterthought in big time collegiate sports.
