What happens when the #1 show, The Last of Us, goes H2H against the #1 event of the year? They move it to Friday! Yep, we got The Last of Us 5th episode coming out today to start a great weekend.
Sopportare e Sopravvivere (Endure and Survive).... the Romans gave us blood and guts in the Coliseum with gladiators. Now they enjoy soccer but leave it to us Americans to bring it back with UFC and of course with the greatest event of the year... Super Bowl LVII. Before Happy Hour and then The Last of Us, we start from the beginning in Italy with Serie A on Friday, then bring it home with UFC 284 on Saturday and, of course, on Sunday we end with the Super Bowl LVII.
Enjoy the weekend!
AC Milan v. Torino +0.5 (+102)
Coach Stefano Pioli insisted he had ‘no regrets’ over his tactical decisions in AC Milan’s 1-0 loss to arch-rivals Inter, which saw the defending Serie A (SA) champions fail to fire a single shot on target. The Rossoneri have now lost four matches in a row for the first time since 2017, and given their 18-point deficit to runaway league leaders Napoli, it's clear their hopes of successfully defending their crown for the first time since 1994 are all but over.
Pioli now finds himself under serious pressure to retain his job and little wonder, as it has been more than three months since Milan kept a clean sheet in SA (Nov 8 vs Cremonese). No wins across their last three meetings against Torino (D1, L2), including a 1-0 Coppa Italia defeat here in January, shows that stopping this rot will be far from straightforward. The gravity of the situation is well evidenced by their seven goals conceded across their two SA home matches in 2023, almost half of their entire seasonal tally here (16).
