It must feel sad to reach a certain age and realize you did not live your authentic life. Of course, there was the rug. But perhaps worse was living an entire adult life closeted and not getting to enjoy the warm embrace of another man. How he longed for a partner to share his life of cleanliness and minimalism. Oh the regrets! That glance once shared at the deli... the slow brushing of the hands with the team lead at Corbin Electric... and the wonderful agony of the locker room showers and steam rooms.
