Have you ever seen the show, "Live from Daryl's House". Its still on. He collaborates with artists he invites to his house (has a recording studio) and they jam on different songs written by the invitee and Daryl. It's very good.

Watching Daryl in that show you get a feel for how talented he is. Can create a song in a few chords and an idea.
