For many years there was an “old adage” between the good old boy network of baseball writers and voters that no one deserves 100 percent

I believe it was Mo Rivera who finally broke through and got 100 percent first ballot.

If a reliever got it Ichiro sure as hell should have

The guy who didn't pick him is running scared. The blowback would be big and he knows it.

They should make this stuff public. If you can't back your vote (or non-vote) for someone, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Wow. I don't remember Jr. missing it by 3 but yes, that is a travesty.
