Going to NJ rn from Brooklyn for the weirdest reason possible..cashout a bet

While the teller was counting up the ~83k, I decided to max bet Scottie for 1R leader at -300 after tying the course record with a 62.


Figured it would be over by 7pm & it's past 10pm & they still haven't completed the 2R. What I never realized is I could only cashout a bet in the state I made it. This random scrub is only 2 back with 7 holes left & I'll lose 11k on a DH reduction. Scottie is actually -550 live but I'm not willing to chance it since this Gerard guy went -3 on those same 7 holes yesterday.




Only this guy has a chance. Ech. who's 1 back has a 45' just to save par on 17 & Lee would need to the last 2 just to tie.

This is a one off Jerky to have to wind up in some random train station in NJ in order to click the C/O button. $83 profit but I have no doubt I just cost myself almost another 7417 by doing this. Just not prepared to lose 11.25k or 22k (almost as much as I won risking 60k) if this no name gets hot down the stretch.

That is ACTUALLY limited. My golf max win bets are $7500..highest sport limit (down from 40k). That's why I was only able to risk 22k @-300

So @dougtushyterror were you able to cash out or not?

I’m confused a bit. Looks like Scottie was the R2 leader as the guy you were concerned about failed to birdie any of the final five holes and ended up a shot back

Gotta "love" gambling Jay. Worthwhile trip to NJ for the Florida bets. Totally wasted trip last night cashing out the Scottie bet. Of course Gerard pars the last 5 to finish 1 back while some lucky bastard took Scottie before the rd at +900 & stuck with it.

$160.70 in miscellaneous costs (commute+$100 fine for fare evasion) brings the net total to $29,657.

So there are levels to this 'limiting' business at FD. Once you start betting player props, I guess, you'll see what LIMITING really means lol

It was specifically after that Braun prop (even though I won the exact same bet on Sharpe 4 days earlier) when I was limited across the board on all sports ($937.50 max win on props). $3750 in most sports up to $7500 in golf. You see how much I was able to get down on props on 2/6 when my limits were still 15k.
* not exactly a Scoot fan anymore for about 40k reasons
