All the big NY and Kentucky names are in Tampa today for some big races. When that happens, I like to look at sharp local trainers that no one will pay attention to. In race 9, trainer Tim Padilla has #9 Drama Chorus entered. Padilla has positive ROI in NUMEROUS categories at Tampa, but is being ignored by the bettors in favor of the bigger names.
Horse had a morning line of 15-1, but is sitting at 60-1 with about 30 mtp. Might not be good enough to compete, but Padilla’s outfit should never be 60-1 at Tampa.
