Still pretty solid showing by Braves pitching again yesterday.

They mean nothing anymore players can’t hit. It’s not that hard.

IDK - there have been more of late - but a lot of factors including ballparks.

Look at the 1970s vs 1980s for example - what changed that caused so many more in the 70s ? Pitching was arguably better in the 80s - the ballpark evolution really didn’t start until the 90s - how many parks debuted in the 80s? Metrodome ? Kingdome was late 70s - can’t think of any others and both of those were pitchers parks.

I don’t buy hitters “don’t care” - the strikeout has increased yes - but there are still plenty of hitters who don’t go up their hacking away like Rob Deer in the day/
