Former Baylor head coach Art Briles hired at DII school

Had a heck of a run at Baylor. RGIII’s coach.

He and others at the school got fired or resigned after multiple players and students were accused of sexual assault over a 3-4 year period and some accused the school of trying to cover it up

Thought he was blacklisted but I guess a decade on someone decided to give him another chance

D-II Eastern New Mexico hires Art Briles as coach

Art Briles, fired by Baylor in 2016 after a review of the Big 12 school's handling of sexual assault allegations made against several football players, has been hired at Division II Eastern New Mexico.

Briles took a Stephenville High School team that hadn’t been to the playoffs in ages to four state titles in a decade before jumping to the college level at Baylor

Started out using the wishbone and switched to shotgun spread offense, one of the first to use it in Texas high school football, and teams couldn’t stop it

He was one of the anointed ones in Texas coaching circles before the scandal at Baylor basically canceled him
