FInal 4 KU vs Nova, Duke vs UNC

I'll be tied up for the next several days (daughter's wedding) and won't be on the board as much. I'll be checking in occasionally as time allows, but I wanted to get my thoughts out there on the final 4 matchups.


Kansas -4 vs Nova
I think the loss of Moore is pretty big deal. More than the line indicates. One of the people who would step up and fill in to the lineup with Moore out is Longino but, he's out too. I have a hard time seeing how they make up for those absences. Taking Jayhawks -4

Duke vs UNC
I think UNC is playing a new level. They have really picked it up in March. I know they almost crapped the bed vs Baylor but they are winning games they are supposed to lose AND when they are supposed to win, they cover the spread. The lone exception to this was the Virg Tech game when V. Tech was also playing way above themselves.

Duke's gonna be Duke, an awesome team. In the tourny they pretty much have covered the spread in each game. Prior to that, not so much. Duke has picked it up and become a better team since the loss to UNC.


I think this will be an extremely close game. There is too much history between the teams. I can't see giving up 4 points. Duke may win but it will be very very close.

unc nothing to lose, while duke with all the pressure and have everything to lose on this game. i kinda like unc.

Sounds like some Rudy forum plays may be in order. I am terrible in the final4/finals. I would go Nova because of the injury at least for the 1st half.
