You are very lucky to be on that side of the Country. In order for me to eat fresh seafood, either I go to an expensive seafood resto (not a chance lol) or drive to Jaco or Puntarenas.

Yeah used to stay over there before they put in the big marina. Beautiful but touristy

Where are you moving to if you don’t mind sharing ? I wanna leave too in my 50’s.

Looking at Philippines first. I still have some friends when I visited last year. I'm really not acclimated to the heat and humidity so I would probably only stay a couple months.

I was also looking at Mexico. It's closer to the US of course and it's warmer in the winter. The problem with that is that I don't know anyone. I would probably stay there a couple months a year as well.

The third alternative would be to move to the mountains of Arizona and travel somewhere warmer during the early months of the year.
