Keep hearing this rumor here again - same as last year.

Might actually work out well for everyone.

He comes in - sits behind Deshaun until he inevitably goes down again with an injury - and can play second coming of St Joe Flacco. Might even lead the team to a playoff win - which should be good for a statute outside of the stadium.

Deshaun then gets cut/injury settlement and takes over.

Of course if he is smart - he’s trying to get himself down to Carolina right now. Regardless- it sounds like Bears are going to pull a Browns like move and dump the proven QB for the self proclaimed “chosen one” and kill their team trying to find the perfect QB - when they have a perfectly serviceable one already.

At the right price - they’d take him as a backup.

If I were Fields agent - I’d be figuring out how to get him to Seattle, Carolina or Denver ASAP. Hell even the Jets possibly or Giants.

Also Joe Flacco played quarterback in the NFL for years and years, Fields has been moonlighting as a "quarterback" while playing running back for a few seasons, not sure he knows how to throw a ball or make solid decisions yet. He's perfect for a desperate team like the Raiders or Atlanta who consistently screw up decisions like this.
