Just starting with one today. But the most overrated position is the quarterback position.
If your in a 12 team league for example and all 11 other teams draft two qb's.
You would still have your choice of 12 starting qb. Yes qb's score the most points, but so do the qbs ranked from 12 to 24 for
the most part. The rb and wr position is more scarce. Do you really want to go into certain weeks having to go into the free agent
pool, desperate to find a replacement wr or rb because your guy is injured?
My recommendation is after 5 rounds to have 2 rb and 3wr on your roster. Handcuff your rb. This means drafting the backup to your
starting rb. Alot of people think its a wasted pick drafting the backup. If he doesn't play a snap, so be it. All that means is your starter
didnt get injured and had a great season.
I'll gladly take Baker Mayfield late with Will Levis as a backup and then in the last round or two, take JJ Mcarthy or Bryce Young.
So when people ask me what qb they should take? My response is. Who cares. Plenty to go around.
If free agents are free or cheap in your league. You can basically pickup the guy with the best matchup and conditions for that week.
Its also what i recommend in daily fantasy. Take one of the cheaper qb playing at home or in a dome with a good matchup, and likely
playing from behind and load up at rb, wr.
Mathew Stafford for example is currently the 19th ranked qb for fantasy and could easily end up in top 5.
The qb's i recommend taking late are Stafford, mayfield, geno smith, Will Levis, and or take Goff or Caleb Williams in the mid rounds.
If your into fantasy football. At least try. Do mock drafts. Preferably on a site like fantasyfootballcalculator.com, fantasylife or on fantasypros.
The mocks on yahoo and espn aren't as realistic.
If any questions. Ask away.
