Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have been game-changers for the WNBA. The league has benefited from both stars who made a name for themselves at the collegiate level.

After just one month of being in the WNBA, they've been able to impact changes in security, travel, and ticket sales. With their fandom at the top of the game, Clark and Reese's first league matchup is circled on everyone's calendar.

The two will face off on June 1st, with the game featured on ESPN. Both of these names have been able to draw eyes for the league; more eyes than ever seen, breaking multiple viewership records.

Another rookie star, Kamilla Cardoso, will look to add excitement to the matchup. The No. 3 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft will reportedly make her season debut on June 1st against the Indiana Fever.

Cardoso suffered a shoulder injury in Chicago's preseason game and was set to miss 3-4 weeks. Her timeline for comeback is set at the beginning of June.

Fans across social media believe Cardoso is coming back just in time to face Clark, selling the game at a higher level. They think Cardoso may be getting rushed back just to play in this primetime contest.

Other fans are complaining about Clark's tough schedule, having to face off against some of the top players in the league early in her career.
