Anyone watch these games? They are on NBCLX.

The Basics
7 on 7
50 yard indoor field
4 teams last year. 8 this year.
2- 20 min halves. Games take ~ 1hr.
Team makeup is based on fan choices of who to draft at beginning of season.
Coach sets up groups of available plays before the game for each down/distance.
Fans pick the play the team runs using an app and voting while game is ongoing.

Additional quarks to the game
No kicking of any type. No FG, xtra pts, no punts. No special teams.

After scoring a touchdown, teams have the option of going for an extra point on a one-on-one play between a receiver and cornerback from the five-yard line, or a two-point conversion from the 10-yard line.

Fans vote on the league rules before the season.

I think it will take a little bit for fans to get used to. But once it gains more popularity I think it’s going to be pretty big

Almost exactly the same except plays called by fans.
Everyone has their phone out at the arena and you can still vote for the play you want from home with the app.

One of the indoor football league owners tested this out 3 years ago. He had fans pick the plays for his indoor team and they did exceptionally well, regularly beating teams with coach called plays.

That's what gave them the idea for the league.

I love the concept but most times fans will pick the same most exciting play. I really hope it catches on
