I just don't understand that hate. Because of his dad? So, in short, he and his dad are the Bronny and Lebron of the NFL?
I've read he did not do well in the interviews with NFL teams.

One NFL coach on the interviews said this,

"He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good."

Not sure how much to read into that as it may be from a coach on team with a lower draft pick and hoping to "de-value" Sanders.

Wow! This is a big turn-off if true.

So question is will Browns take him - if not could be a long fall.

That trade down to #5 doesn’t look so dumb now - could get Sanders AND next years #1 from Jags for a 3 spot drop.

As I said - Hunter is the top player - but really didn’t fit the Browns needs - they are way more than a single receiver away from being a contender and this is a deep WR draft. They filled a need and got picks.

With 2 of first 4 in 2nd round - and the teams between the picks being set at QB - they could grab their guy at #1 and wait to take the QB at #4 - even if someone jumps to grab Sanders - they likely were thinking Milroe pre draft anyway.

Would love to see them grab the kid from Marshall - but doubt it as D is already loaded and CB from Michigan is very possible here. Henderson from Ohio State might be the homer pick here - but I like the RB out of Iowa better if available in 3rd. Bottom line is if they could get a 3rd 1st rounder next year for one of their 2 top 4 2nd rounders they need to do it - or take a QB and best available player with their 2 picks - then grab WR and RB with the 2 3rd rounders.

I think all that may be true. But if you are going to tell this to someone about any kid in the draft, not just Sanders, don't be a coward. Put your name behind it.

I think his arm strength is a ? mark that has scared a lot of teams. And that is extremely valid

Yeah... Kind of BS it was anonymous and like I mentioned, you don't really know if it was just a coach playing head games.

The thing about being an NFL level coach is you simply never know year to year where you will be coaching.

I get not wanting to put their name behind the comment for this reason - makes things very uncomfortable when you go to the team that drafted him next season.

At the same time - don’t say shit you cannot validate. Arm strength for example is easy to see on tape - saying he didn’t look great in a big game - again - easy enough. But saying he’s a bad interview is just not something verifiable - and it’s the NFL not Miss America - there is no interview portion of the game that matters.

The things with Shedeur is, anyone who drafts him will have to play him soon if not immediately.

Because 2nd round picks get 4 year deals not 5 like 1st round picks.

So are you going to draft him to sit behind your current starter for 1 or 2 seasons and then risk having him for only 2 seasons before he can leave or do you start him immediately knowing he might not be ready to be the immediate starter and deal with whatever that brings?

Also, you draft him and you have to deal with his father.

Are you going to risk all this? Not me.

For what? He isn't some game changing talent like Ashton Jeanty or Cam Ward.

Fukk this guy.

All this stuff about having to deal with "Deon" seems extremely overblown and I don't think NFL teams give a damn about that.

Deon has been in the NFL, and he knows how it works and where the lines are drawn. This isn't a Ball situation, he was just completely ignorant in so many ways that Deon is not.

I think the kid lacks quality arm strength, and as we have seen in years past, that often makes a big difference, add that in to mostly playing lower end competition etc. And it makes him a bit more of a risk than some players at other positions that many teams need.
