NBC took the Sunday night MLB contract.

Baseball not exactly a ratings bonanza, ESPN probably trying to go with momentum in aftermath of MLB.

If Clark’s not the featured game, nobody’s gonna watch

This could be true. With MLB having something like 1.7 million viewers on Sundays, WNBA got up to about 1.3 million viewers.

But Clark had a lot to do with it.

If all those investing in women's sports during these years of momentum want to get anything out of it, there will need to be marketing.

But throwing good money after bad for marketing may not work if the product has a ceiling.
