Entered a 50k NFL Survivor Pool ($1000 buy-in)

So far only 13 entries including myself so if it stays under 25 this seems like solid value. Rn I'd have a 1 in 13 chance of winning risking 1k to win 50k. You could see there's not much value in entering the other 50k & 100k pools based on all the entries. 1k buy-in should really limit that. Going Ravens this wk coming off that loss to KC with an extra 3 days rest.

*I'd gladly take any & all suggestions since you could only take a team once & never again so there are probably better options than the Ravens based on upcoming schedule & match-ups.

I'm surprised they're not offering a 10k or at least a 5k Survivor

They will payout 50K regardless of the entries and take a loss if it’s less than 50 total ? I’m confused I thought they always manage to bring in a minimum of 20% rake ?

Based on the rules they'd have to. They probably offset that by how much profit they make in the smaller entry pools. I just hope they stop accepting entries after wk 2 for this one for obvious reasons:
1) decreases my chances
2) not fair to the other entries who had to start making picks before wk 3.

Well this sucks. 18 entries when I entered, now up to 84. Prize went up but it seems rather hopeless beating out that many. Sticking with the Ravens for whatever it's worth.

Kind of surprised they increased the prize that much since their rake is only 5k assuming it stays at 84 if it's now officially closed off.

I bet during the last couple of hours there was significant 'lag' in the tournament lobby/on the sign up page.

I bet they didn't even try to fix the lag. Maybe even caused the lag. Because if interested players can clearly see there won't be overlay, they won't sign up.

This is sooo easy to manipulate, trust me.
