“Steady Eddie” joined the team at 17, played in more games than any Met and in 1969 helped a once-woeful franchise pull off a “miracle” — a World Series title. Ed Kranepool was a great person and player. He gave me a lot of childhood memories. RiP Ed Kranepool.
