Anyone a fan of his podcast? He was recently on Joe Rogan and interviewed Ellon Musk He has some great podcasts and brings up valid points. Anyone into him?
Not sure his criticism of science "popularizers" is all that legitimate by claiming they aren't scientists in the trenches.
But that's not totally true, ignores their past work, ignores their current positions, and ignores some of the methods that those popularizers are using...like bringing on guests of those who are in the trenches.
I get it, TV can corrupt. TV doctors may barely practice while they spend time with TV productions, and science popularizers will have to pay attention to the media and influencing, but many of them will admit as much in not so many words.
He had a general criticism of talking heads there, and I think the brush stroke was too broad and a bit unfair while he does on a podcast.
It's like that romeojulietclone dude that used to write long posts complaining about posters that complain about posters...lol. Now that's smarts...LMAO
