He admitted to being a rapist in court and said all those guys that came over were too. The defense was that it wasn't rape if the husband gave permission. That defense didn't work. Laws regarding rape in France are not very good. I read earlier that there is no verbage about sex being consensual in the law. This case may change that as the wife waived anonymity to encourage other victims to stand up.

The wife had now idea and thought the memory lapses were a mental issue.
