Everyone of these kids and coaches want to win these games I see nothing but great effort

The Rutgers and Miami game already were close to a pregame brawl

The only exception might be Florida State because they’re trying to make a statement they got screwed and they’re right

Coaches are getting paid really big money they better wanna win and players are getting chances. They never got during the regular season. They’re playing like animals.

Clearly not every team is putting their best out there.

These games are not as important as years past.

Bowl games today are not taken seriously by most teams now. Just look at these games like NFL preseason exhibition games.

Putting their best out there has nothing to do with teams not caring

National football league also, nobody quits ever anyone that thinks that’s a dummy

New England and the Jets are playing to the death every game and also Washington

Its one thing to "CARE" as a player but if you're a 2nd or 3rd team player and have to start in a game due to opt-outs/transfer portal, you're still not a good player.

Sure, the guys on the field are likely motivated since they are actually there playing but, that doesn't mean anything as far as how well the team will play.

Tanko I don't necessarily think because you are 2nd or even 3rd team that you're not a good player, especially if just talking talent, but they are usually lacking the experience and the speed of playing in a D1 college bowl game.
But yes some are just not every good and was a wasted scholarship. It happens more than what some may think.

We are in agreement RR.
2nd or 3rd team guys are good, hell they made D1 team but they usually aren't as good as the 1st team guys.

The exception to that is probably the 2nd and 3rd team guys on Georgia or Alabama, etc... They could start elsewhere.

A guy that went to my high school several years after I graduated got a scholarship to Auburn as a Safety. Don't get me wrong he was a great high school player but most that saw him play in high school new he was no D1 player.
It was a wasted scholarship for Auburn. It was Great for him, he hung around 5 years and got a degree. Auburn got a 5 year scout team player that had no chance of every seeing the field on game day.
