I think there have been worse actions by players and they still played in MLB.

If guys like Domingo German and Aroldis Chapman can get big contracts from the Yankees after using their girlfriends as heavy bags I don't see why they wouldn't give a big contract to Bauer.

I'm going to disagree with you on that. If it was more than "rough consensual sex" there would have been charges filed. The woman continued to see Bauer and texted with him about it after the incidents took place. She only come out to the police/public after he was going to break it off with her.

Did he take it too far? IDK. But, he wasn't charged so its hard to say he did anything wrong.

MLB didn't have any more evidence than the police. If they did, they are criminally and civilly liable for not turning it over. So their action was not based on more "facts" in the case. They just had to take action to "save face" with the public. All pro leagues are not taking similar steps now due to backlash in the past.

There are no “definites” but odds of it being simply rough consensual sex is extremely low. Plenty of evidence suggests it’s more than that, doesn’t mean criminal charges are going to go forward

If I lost a year of my career for that I would be suing the MLB aggressively. That’s what any innocent person would do

Recently a video has been released of the alleging victim, smiling & uninjured lying in bed next to a sleeping Bauer. According to Bauer this time frame was hours after he supposedly brutally and sexually assaulted this woman in regards to her claim. That’s one side of the story lol.
