He won 1 with the Celtics but they had great talent that year. It wasn't because of his presence .

He's literally living off the 2008 championship with the Celtics but I think he gets jobs because his players love him. He doesn't win though so he doesn't justify getting high profile jobs in the coaching ranks. I think this is a bad hire made simply because the old coach didn't make the star players happy and I don't know that Rivers can fix Milwaukee's major weakness which is defense.
