Everybody gonna be rooting against Memphis & Ja Morant for the stunt he pulled with the gun in the club. The factor of the matter is Ja Morant has been an exceptional in the playoffs.

He nearly averaged a triple double last year in the playoffs 27.1 pts 8.0 rds 9.8 ast. HC Taylor Jenkins for Memphis turns Ja Morant loose playing 40 mins in the playoffs as opposed to 33 mins in the regular season in his career.

Since you didn’t want to elaborate JJGold I did & I like Memphis as a small favorite to win this series.

Memphis has been a mediocre defensive team for a while and have regressed a lot and are like 26th in rebounding

Meanwhile Lakers 4th in rebounding and have been trending in the right direction, and are the better defensive team

No Adams or Clark is huge for this series. They have nothing to neutralize LeBron/AD attacking the paint. Lakers are gonna get to the line a ton in this series

Lakers will force Ja to try and beat them. They have the defenders now to stay out to their shooters

Lakers have a real shot to move on. 1st Round Playoffs really favor the older/injury prone teams. You play like once every 3-4 days it seems. Sunday-Wed-Sat 1st 3 games.....

Heavily dependent on how JJJ gets officiated.

If AD shoots 16 free throws a game and gets him in foul trouble it will suck the pace out of the game and lebron could pick them apart in the half court
