Can’t be a good sign going into football.

Submit a relatively small parlay ($250) on a couple of Olympic picks - get a message that my bet requires review due to size.

Guessing they either are pissed that I play - withdraw and then redeposit regularly - or are just getting ready to limit my account.

Sad part - I don’t play there THAT much of late - just been pissing around with a couple of hundred and trying to make $50 a day. Been doing ok so far - up a few hundred over 2 weeks. Gonna suck if I lose this out come FB season as have been told zero promo’s from FanDuel and we lost BetFred in Ohio (treated me well last year).

More problems this AM

Showing me Greece/Australia MBK as being in 2nd quarter - Greece +2.5 despite the game being late jn 4th with Greece leading by 10.

Of course not accepting bets on Greece - only Australia.

Not a good sign for a legal book.

Wow. They are really looking piss-poor.
I'm surprised.

Remember when everyone said “why would I play in some 3rd world based unlicensed book where my money is in jeopardy when I can l play at a licensed legal book securely - albeit at slightly juiced odds”.

Now you know the rest of the story

Offshore will always find a way to remain in the equation - it will just consolidate with a few big/trustworthy long established shops - and some small places trying to reach big boy status someday mixed in with a smattering of scam operators.

Pick your poison - you pay taxes 2x (both on inflated odds and then if you’re lucky enough to win) - or you take a chance on books slow/no paying and dealing offshore. To each their own - for me myself there are reasons to use both still.

Seems to me the industry as a whole is starting to turn into a joke. Want kids playing parlays for 2 bucks.

The top 10 offshore books have not stiffed in 25 years

Case closed
Who are the top 10?

Are there really 10 that can be considered top out there serving a US customer base ?

Clearly there are more than 10 serving non US facing - but US facing you have:

- Betonline
- Bookmaker
- Heritage
- BetUS
- YouWager
- Bovada

Who else ? (I don’t include subs of of parent groups of the above). I’d rate them in that approximate order right now as far as trustworthy.

I lived and worked in Prague in the early 2000s.

Their sportsbetting joints are packed. Busy, at least, even by the Vegas standard. It's taxed heavily and players, 99% of whom lose of course, don't care if they are charged -105 or -115.

Back then, a standard line on AN NFL GAME WAS -126 to -130 depending on the joint.

This is where betting is gravitating towards here in the U.S. now. I'm glad I have offshore options. It's good to have options (sorry SBR)

Another great example of the shit software (or outright acceptance of bettor stupidity):

1722721819236.png
So clearly Sabalenka had one the 2nd set - there is ZERO chance of Bouzkova running the table and winning 2:0 - yet they will give you +3000 odds on it !

They are getting sloppy on throwing out some stupid high prices on teams trailing - and I’ve been pressing a few of them - cards/cubs great example today going into 7th - took Cards and used my 50% live odds boost for the max $50 with Cards down 3 and +600 - boosted and had a nice play as the cards evened things out. Unfortunately I was an idiot and just bet a chunk on the Cubs knowing worst I could do is break even - well worst case happened of course and Cards took it.
