On 11/12, I placed a live wager on international hockey involving France v. Hungary u2.5 (-118) with the score at 1-0 entering 3rd period. At the end of regulation the score was tied 1-1, so the wager won as Sportsbetting hockey rules state that for international hockey the wager ends at regulation time and does not include OT. The game itself went to OT for final score 2-1 but SB incorrectly graded the wager as a lost. Also, it's clear that the line was for regulation time as for a full 3rd period with a score at 1-0 the u2.5 would not be (-118) if it included OT. Bovada includes OT and their line for that game at the start of 3P was +200.

Later that day I contacted SB via online chat and was told it will be corrected. However, the next day it was not corrected. So I contacted them several times and then on 11/20 they credited my account with the wager amount but not the winnings. I contacted to them today and CS replied that it was a courtesy credit since the wager actually lost. I contended that the wager was a win and even copied their rules to CS who then stated that it's taking awhile longer and will send me an email later. And now once again the waiting game. And here's their rules:

International/European Ice Hockey including IHF World Championship Hockey
1. As above Hockey Rules apply.
2. Wagering can be via handicap or 3-way Moneyline with a tie option.
3. All bets will be settled based on the score at the end of regulation time.

How much was the wager?

Well they certainly look to be wrong but cmon man, your time is worth more than that.
Yes, but it’s annoying as what if I want to bet max on World Champion hockey later on but will question whether I’ll get paid or not if situation occurs or not.

Also, I’m sure I wasn’t the only person live betting that under for that game. Advocate for them or principal of the matter… I fought for it.

Well done. They should not getting away with stealing money. And as you say, important to have a precedence in case you bet bigger at a later time.

That's a fair argument. Their CS is so dumb though. I don't think I'd have the patience.

CS in this industry must be some of the worst out of all industries. I was having plans of moving to Malta once so I was in a Malta related facebook group. In that group there was someone from a betting company (so many betting companies are based there) recruiting people and it was just "Come work for us!". No reqiurement on skills, personal traits or anything like that.
