It was actually on a goodwill tour making stops along the way to Iceland before returning home.
Could you imagine sailing the North Atlantic in one of those damn things ?? I mean it’s like one of those pirate ships they take tourist out on in the Caribbean. Imagine being in the military and being assigned to a ship whose design is a few centuries old and sailing the high seas again. No thanks - it’s occasionally uncomfortable sailing on a modern cruise ship with the weather - can’t think riding out a storm in that thing would be pleasant.
