I mean it’s just WEIRD - happens when non athletic people try to show off their “personality” around athletes. No one buys a ticket to see you - just like no one buys tickets to watch the refs. Your not part of the show - stay out of the limelight and do your damn job anonymously like your supposed to.

There was and remains only one Howard Cosell. You’re not him so don’t try to be.

Honestly - she’s in a no win position here. Laugh it off and she’s gonna get shit for not being outraged from some. Act outraged and she’s “too soft” and just pissed off the biggest name in journalism in her new city.

She’s still a kid - nice to see she has enough of a head on her shoulders to deal with this weird exchange from a grown ass old man. Still - he needs to realize no one came to the conference to see/hear him. Reporters are reporters for a reason - to write and report on the show - not participate in it.
