Then I just get cut, no pay. Must be irreplaceable to start with. Most of us are not.

I wasn't aware of the 84 mln buyout, it's a crazy amount. The fact it just wasn't working, is probably as much on Russ as the Broncos. Could he just hate the city and quietly made a business decision to never play 'too hard', which inevitably led to getting released?

Makes sense.

Whatever happened, I think both parties benefit from that decision.

Makes you wonder if Wilson was just not motivated to play well in Denver after receiving the huge contract or if it was just not the right organizational fit there.

Seems to have picked up his game in PIT. Due to the system/coach or motivated after being dumped from DEN?
