Days like this make me sick remembering the single-day 4 BTC payout I got from Bookmaker

Who knew?

Probably would have been around 2016 when a $1,500 or so cashout at Bookmaker meant a 4 BTC payout to my Gemini account back then

I clearly remember getting Bitcoin payouts regularly when it was only $300-$400

Sickening to think about
Totally Wags.

I can’t transact with Coinbase anymore but I can still log in.

It’s the first one I ever used. (Probably same for a lot of us)

It’s crazy to see some CC purchases of $40 per day (their CC max back then) and that the $40 purchase was for around .2 BTC

I’ve talked with poster @JDS about this.

It’s tough to keep from getting a bit down when BTC, as well as some stocks I used to own, are soaring.

The bad fault I’ve had over the years is not having the foresight that things like this might or would happen.

The other think I get pissed about short term is I always seem to get the ass end of the BTC runs

Tuesday I had some nice cash outs and sold BTC later in the day so it would be in my bank account the next day.

If I’d have waited two days it would have been an extra $90-100 in cash

I've had dozens of it too at a time back when it was under 1K. All I know is that money I had in BTC was money I needed to help make ends meet. So it wasn't deposable income to where I could leave it in there and hope for it to grow. So days like this I can just put it into perspective. The rich get richer and that is a part of life.

Held a lot of it at one time - but it was just transactional - sold right after receipt.

Held a shit ton of Goldpay too at one time too following a sportsbook payout - as I am sure several others did to as it was a popular option at one point for a payment service (each point or whatever it was was based on the spot price of a gram of gold) - never hear anyone talk about wishing they had that back - because it turned out to be a scam and completely worthless and backed by nothing.

You never know holding this stuff - for every BTC there are dozen Goldpays, tulip bulbs or whatever.

I don’t remember the Goldpay Jeff.

Don’t think I ever had any. Sounds like I’m glad I didn’t

HODL......

TBH I've spent a small amount of the crypto I have, especially when it spikes.
Just a little taste to make me feel good about having it.

Its like when you go on a run at the black jack table and start pocketing the black chips to make sure you don't piss it all away.

Came immediately following Neteller if I remember right - I k own the price was based on gram of gold.

Actually had their own sportsbook as well as- similar to how nitrogen came on the scene as a BTC book - but thinking you still placed bets in USD and not their “currency”.

A lot of scam methods over the years in the industry - all claiming to be legit. As bettors - BTC was just that to start - a method to fund accounts.

Instead of calling a 900 number and getting charges on your phone bill - you bought some crypto coin crap we didn’t understand and money was transferred to your account. Not many so the long term on this one.

Most of us will see Bitcoin do another 10x or more. It's not too late.

By no means it will do another 1000x compared to USD in my lifetime, but the probability of it going to zero is infinitely lower than it doing a 10x, or even a 100x.

And I'm a big believer in this country. Dollar. Just. Has. No Chance.
