Covid Problems and cancels

College Basketball: Game 759-760

03/01 02:12 PM PST College Basketball GAME #759-760 UC SAN DIEGO vs Cal Poly SLO has been cancelled due to COVID issues within the UC San Diego program. Additionally the game on Saturday, March 4th vs Cal State Fullerton has also been cancelled. These games have been declared no contest and will not be made up.

Yeah its too late in the season to make them up if they were going to do that. I wonder how many people within the program have COVID issues? If it is just a few people than I don't get why they need to cancel the game.

I hope we don't see a scenario like there was two years ago where Oregon advanced in the Round of 64 against VCU due to Covid issues inside their program.

Saturday's scheduled first-round men's NCAA tournament game between Oregon and VCU has been declared a no-contest because of multiple positive COVID-19 tests within the Rams program. The Ducks automatically advance to the second round.

yes bring back bad thoughts here on 2020 as that was the yr the acc was in my city and everything got cancel mid week
