A scary moment happened ahead of Monday's postponed Daytona 500 race.
According to reports a pair of NASCAR jet dryer trucks collided with one another on the track, spilling fuel and causing emergency vehicles to disperse at the scene.
Thankfully, it doesn't appear that anyone was hurt in the wreck but it definitely received some social media attention.
"Holy crap…" a user said.
"Only in Daytona," another replied.
"It really is 2012 all over again," a fan tweeted.
"What in the Juan Pablo is this," another person asked.
"The weirdest things happen in Daytona on Mondays," Nick Gray commented.
"Somebody pointed out the insane similarities to the 2012 Daytona 500. If Buescher wins, and with this happening now, yes, this is as close as it gets to 2012."
"WE GOT THE BIG ONE AT DAYTONA YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP," another user exclaimed.
"I'm 100% convinced NASCAR is just cursed at this point."
The "Great American Race" is scheduled to get started at 4 PM ET on FOX. The race was originally supposed to take place on Sunday but heavy rain in the Florida area caused the track to be too wet to race on safely.
Joey Logano will start the 500 in pole position.
