The way Kawhi left SA was complete BS. I always hated him for the way it went down so I can't blame the fans for booing.

Coach commented that he didn't want the booing since SA is a better than that and has more class. I'm not sure any city would have fans that didn't wouldn't boo Kawhi after what he did to the Spurs fans a few years ago.

Seemed like he was unwilling to work with the team on his injury at the time. The team's doctors had an opinion and Kawhi's doctors had an opinion. The team let him go with his doctor's opinion but he didn't seem to work too hard on rehab. That's what got the Spurs mgmt and players upset.

Normal recovery time for a normal person to a quadricep injury is 4-6 weeks. For athletes with specialists and a focus on recovering quickly it should be less. He only played in 9 games in 2018. Seems like he was upset with how the team initially handled the injury and subsequently decided to do his thing.

I've not found more than a few in SA area that have "positive" feelings about the way he (Kawhi) handled the situation. Lots of people viewed him as the player to build around.

Just my opinion. Of course, I'm a little biased since I'm from the area so take it with a grain of salt.

i knew he would not sign there the moment magic johnson ran his fatass mouth after the meeting between kawhi's people and the lakers.

kawhi's camp made it clear to the raptors, lakers and clippers, that he did not want anything at all leaking from their meetings. magic tragic johnson ran his mouth and the rest is history.

in case you cannot tell, i have been a kawhi fan since he was early in his career at SDSU when 99% of sports fans had no idea who he was.

i know a little about his personality and the way he operates, and he makes this clear to all organizations he has been with
