Shoutout to @carolinakid for the idea of having a community toast for the holidays!

Since I know we all are going to have different busy schedules with our loved ones, this thread is for both christmas and new years. you can share allll the toasts you want in here whether its a simple post, voice note, or video.

ill start first by giving a toast to all posters in this community. you're all a special piece to BMR and i'm grateful for all the kind hearted and brilliant minded people i've met on here. Cheers to you 🧡

I'd like to offer a toast to all the people who have extended positive energy and thoughts throughout forumville over the last few years.

I was a 24/7 caregiver for my terminally ill mother during that time. I don't seek any pity, but caregiving is a very isolating endeavor, and having the forum interaction kept me as close to sane as I'm capable of being over that time. I won't be spending as much time on the forum in the future now that circumstance has granted me the free time to go back to grinding out a living at the poker tables and just generally having a life again, but I'll value the positive posters and their forum contributions just the same.

I wish everyone a happy holiday season, a merry Christmas, and lots of rungood in the coming year.

Sorry to hear about your mom 2the9s, dealing with that situation is not easy for you and for her but one thing is for sure.. that you are a good son! You always have a home in this forum.
