Chik Fil-A children’s camp draws child labor complaints
So what’s you take on this - parents paying $35 - to dump their kid at a Chik Fil-A for 3 one hour sessions where they get a t-shirt, snack, lecture from a manager and the opportunity to see what it’s like working in fast food.
For what it is - really don’t understand why they are charging $35 - or at least not handing the kids a $35 Gift Card at the end (if you do it free - you know they would be flooded with people dumping their kids off).
I mean nothing wrong with letting kids get a taste of real life jobs - but having kids “working” in a busy kitchen is probably not the brightest idea. Smarter would be setting up at a local school/community center/church with a mobile Chik Fil-A and letting the kids “serve” lunch to some veterans, seniors or homeless or something.
Other than that - the idea is good - but the implementation is all wrong.
