Wow... Boston shed $40M in cap money.
I like Holiday but dayam, they were overpaying for these last two years of a contract.

I don't get what Portland was seeing in this trade. Will Holiday provide them $40M worth of performance the next two years? Sure they get the two 2nd round picks as well but I think Boston feels good about this trade.

what are the blazers thinking? even if they can't afford to keep simmons, why give up the 2 second round picks for an older overpaid guy who is not a huge difference maker. i like holiday but not for that salary.

Haven't thought about it really but right off the top of my head I would have said Indiana except Haliburton being out could really cripple their chances. They really impressed me in these playoffs. Seem to have a lot of good young players and a good bench and very good coach.
Celtics I just don't know. Will have to see how any more changes to their lineup affects them. I think Brad Stevens is the best GM since Ted Auerb. ach. He got rid of Kemba Walker,Isaiah Thomas Marcus Smart,Rober Williams, who all have really done nothing elsewhere and had recurring injuries.Got Porzingis,Derek White ,Al Horford, and Jrue Holiday which they wouldn't have won championship without. Dont count them out even without Tatum. Anyway I dont know if anyone can challenge Cleveland next season.

There is zero excuse for Cleveland to not make the finals next year. The don’t have to do anything roster wise. Just stay healthy. No Haliburton. No Tatum. No Dame. No Knicks improvement. The only wild card is the Sixers being healthy.
