Wow - just wow.

I get he’s a successful coach and well respected- but the guy just got hired and hasn’t exactly done anything to suggest he is righting the ship in Milwaukee.

A lot of guys who have been around the whole season and done something to deserve the honor.

Doc Rivers hasn't really been that successful

Coached that Boston Celtics team with Garnett, Pierce, and Ray Allen which you or I could have done

Other than that nothing much other than some above average seasons with Clips & Sixers

Successful in the East means a .500 record and being able to hold a job for 5 years.

The bar isn’t set too high for him.

It's for the staff that led the team to a 30-13 record.

Rivers had been a consultant for the Adrian Griffin since December, then took his job, lol.

Rivers knows he doesn't deserve it and plans to give the money to Griffin.

So they don’t personalize the rings with the recipient name ? Or is he just gonna scratch his out ?

I get its for the staff - but if your HC is fired - are you as a staff really doing your job better than anyone else ? I mean - I’d get it if a coach retired for health reasons - but you were fired because the team wasn’t living up to expectations (even if they might be unrealistic). There was a lack of chemistry clearly and something had to be done.

Should we just let Lebron sit out and then award him the MVP of the game too because he thinks he is better than anyone who actually played ?
